Distance Healing: Does It Really Work?

This is probably the question I get asked most often and I completely understand why. Distance healing sounds, on the surface, like something out of a science fiction story. You're at home. I'm in my healing space. And yet, something shifts. Something moves. Something heals.
How?
I'll be honest with you - I can't explain it the way a scientist would. What I can do is tell you what I've witnessed, what my clients have experienced, and why I believe, without a doubt, that distance healing is real and effective.
First, let's understand what distance healing actually is
Distance healing, sometimes called remote healing, is exactly what it sounds like. A healing session that takes place without you being physically present in the room with me. You could be across the city, in another state, or on the other side of the world. It makes no difference.
In energy healing, we work with the premise that energy is not limited by space or time. The same life force energy that flows through us in person flows through us at a distance. When I set an intention and open a healing connection with you, the energy moves - regardless of where our bodies are.
This is the foundation of distance Reiki, distance chakra healing, and other modalities I offer remotely.
What does a distance healing session look like?
We connect at a scheduled time usually over a call or just through mutual intention, depending on what you prefer. You find a quiet, comfortable space where you can lie down and relax undisturbed for the duration of the session. I work from my healing space, holding your energy with the same focus and care as an in-person session.
Afterwards, we reconnect, I share what I observed and experienced during the session, and you share what came up for you. In my experience, these conversations are often the richest part.
But does it really work? Here's what I've seen.
I've had clients receive distance sessions from other cities and message me immediately after saying they felt warmth in exactly the areas I was working on. I've had people cry without knowing why, mid-session, only to realise later that something they'd been carrying for years had quietly released. I've had clients fall into a deep sleep during a session and wake up feeling lighter than they had in months.
I can't promise what you will feel. Every experience is unique. But I can tell you that in my practice, distance sessions consistently produce the same depth of results as in-person ones and sometimes even more, because people are in the comfort and safety of their own space.
What about the sceptical part of your brain?
I want to speak directly to that, because I think scepticism is healthy. You don't need to fully believe in distance healing for it to work. What I'd ask is simply this - be open. Come with curiosity rather than resistance. Give yourself the experience before you form a verdict.
Energy doesn't require belief to move. It just requires intention and receptivity. And if you're reading this, some part of you is already open.
Who is distance healing for?
It's for anyone who wants to experience energy healing but can't travel to a session - whether due to location, health, time, or simply personal preference. It's also for people who find they relax more deeply in their own environment. And it's for anyone who is curious but not quite ready to sit across from a healer in person - distance can feel like a gentle first step.
Wherever you are, I can reach you. That's the beauty of this work.
